Michael T. Moldovan Jr., 46, of 79 Fairwood Dr., Lakewood, N.Y., died Monday, June 23, 1975 at 9:34 am in Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo, N.Y., where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. He was vice president and general manager of the ElectronicVoting Equipment Corp. division of the AVM Corp., Jamestown, N.Y. He served with the United States Air Force as a flight engineer with a four-year tour of duty in Germany. A native of Sheffield, he was born Nov. 21, 1928, a son of Michael T. and Anne HarrisMoldovan Sr., Sheffield.

Moldovan joined the AVM Corp. automatic voting machine division in 1953, and served as machine designer, supervisor of research and development, chief engineer and director of engineering and research. The EveCorp division of AVM Corp is the new election systemoriginated and developed in Jamestown by Moldovan and his associates. He was a graduate of Sheffield High School, Jamestown Community College, and the University of Maryland extension in Bonn, Germany. He was a communicant of Sts. Peter and Paul Roman CatholicChurch, Jamestown. He was a member of the Moon Brook Country Club, Jamestown; the Society of Manufacturing Engineers; the American Society of Mechanical Engineers; and was a former member of the Jamestown Recreation Department.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, the former Patricia Andrzejewski, whom he married Aug. 22, 1953; two daughters, Michelle and Julie Ann Moldovan, both at home; two brothers, George T. Moldovan, Sheffield, and Richard E. Moldovan, Norfolk,Va.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamestown. Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at theLind Funeral Home, 805 W. Third St., Jamestown. Vigil prayers will be led at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The family has suggested that friends wishing to place memorials do so through the Leukemia Society, Western New York Chapter, Ellicot Square,Buffalo, N.Y.
