Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Susan (Spires) Slayton; brothers, Robert and Gary Slayton; niece, Michelle Treadway; nephew, Donald Slayton. Survived by sons, Robert (Lisa) Slayton and Ryan (Diana) Slayton; daughter, Alyson Carruth; granddaughters, Kirsten and Britnee Slayton; grandsons, JP Otero-Meacham and Jack Slayton; brother, Richard (Patty) Slayton; sisters, Sue Ellen (Randy) Cochran, Carol Caldwell, Jeraldine Wheeler and Shirley (George) McKnight. Memorial Service to be held on June 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wellston, OH. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Ron's Memory.
