Marshal Rudolph "Bill" Pollard
Bill was a lifetime professional musician, beginning his career at the age of 6 on Capitol Radio, he was signed by Music City Talent of Nashville TN in 1970 and was featured all over the US and Canada for more than 4 decades. He recorded several albums and made the Billboard charts with 2 of his own songs. Bill played on TV multiple times too including Saturday Night Country Style with Jim Thornton, the Daybreak Show, Hee Haw and he hosted the Back Porch Country Show. Respected in the industry for being able to play anything he picked up, Bill picked with hundreds of musicians over the years including Charlie Daniels, Porter Wagner, Buck Owens and Marty Stuart to name a few. He was honored to have performed on stage at the Grand Ole Opry three times. As humble as he may have been, Bill had fans all over the world and he packed the house everywhere he went.
