- Request for dischard -
Ector's Brigade, Lauderdale Springs, Mississippi, April 10th 1864.

Leut. Wilson N. Muzzal.
Of Company K 10th Texas Regiment, Ector's Brigade, French's Division, having applied for a Certificate on which to grant an application for Discharg the Board of Examiners have carefully examined this officer and find he is unfit for duty in the field or Post in consequence of Chronic Nephritas, complicated with Cystitis and Urethritis from the effects of which he has suffered for twelve months and been unfit for duty for nearly that time. We further declare our belief that he will not be fit for duty in field office or Post in a less period than Twelve months. We assign as particular means why this officer should be discharged as he is in very feable health and the chance of death and life may recover him from the disease he is suffering. We therefore recomend that he be discharged.
