Hall Shelley, 79, of Sturgis, Mich., formerly of Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004. He was born Dec. 14, 1924. Mr. Shelley was the former owner of the Tackle Box on Prior Station Road in Cedartown. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Claude Shelley and Annie Shelley; sister, Ruth Curenton; brother, Jack Shelley; infant daughter, Angela Shelley; and ex-wife, Ethel Wrye Shelley. Survivors include daughter, Diane Pretty of Sturgis, Mich. and brother, Paul Shelley of Cedartown. Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m., at New Harmony Church with Dr. Dewayne New officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
