"Sanford N. Bell, 86, passed away at Sunrise Assisted Living, Fairfield, N.J., on Sunday, June 16. Chapel service is at Jewish Memorial Chapel, 841 Allwood Rd., Clifton, N.J., today at 12 noon. Interment is at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, N.J.
Mr. Bell was born in Newark, N.J., and has lived most of his life in Bloomfield, N.J. He was a technical field director for CBS Sports, and over the course of his 40-plus year career, Mr. Bell has won six Emmy Awards. He retired approximately 20 years ago.
He was predeceased by his wife, the late Gloria Bell (nee Schutzman). Surviving are his daughter, Mindy Bell Krull of Marlboro, N.J.; son, Mitchell Bell (wife, Jodi) of Rockville, Md.; daughter, Jennifer Fishman (husband, Steven) of Saddle River, N.J.; brother, Myron Bell of California, and five grandchildren, Marissa, Alexis, Cassidy, Jake, and Chase."
