SWOPE
Mrs. Susan Swope, mother of Mrs. M. T. Threlkeld, of this place, died of heart disease, last Friday night, at her late residence in Edna, Kansas. She was a most estimable Christian lady and during a life of seventy-six years, had acted well her part. She was Miss Utterback, of Woodford county, Kentucky, where she leaves many relatives. Several years after the death of her first husband, Mr. Stout, she married and removed to Kansas, where she has resided for the last twenty-five years.
