Thomas Leo “Tommy” Coker, age 72 of Decherd passed away February 10, 2021 at Southern TN Regional Health System. He was born on August 27, 1948 to the late Wilson and Alberta Coker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Tommy loved hunting and fishing. He loved his wife, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids with his whole heart. He retired from AEDC after 30 plus years and was also known for Coker’s Deer Processing. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ruby Ann Coker; children, Patricia (Terry) Austin, Thomas (Caroline) Coker, Brittany (Dale) Parks and Nathaniel Coker; stepchildren, David (Rachel) Barnett and John (Amy) Barnett; grandchildren, Josh (Kirsten) Austin, Emily Coker, Daniel (Amy) Parks, Bradley Parks, Joshua Parks, Ashlee Parks, Shelby Barnett, Ty Bogman, Matthew Curtis, Makayla Barnett and Bryson Coker; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Jaxon Austin, Ellie Barnett, Olivia Parks, Chevy Parks and Isabella Parks; siblings, Lynn (Mike) Anderson and Lee (Connie) Coker; several nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3 pm Saturday, February 13, 2021 in Moore-Cortner Chapel. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Robert Reed, William Cox, Coleton Morris, Jason Johnson, Bruce Hill and Nathaniel Coker serving as pallbearers.
