Helen Goff Carrier, 81, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at CAMC General Hospital.

Helen loved to quilt, was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was retired from CAMC General Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Goff and Sidney Carrier; son, Franklin Goff; and grandson, Joey Runyan.

She is survived by two sons, Robert (Kathy) Goff of St. Albans, and Gary (Sharon) Goff of Petersburg, Ind.; two daughters, Bonnie (Kenneth) Runyan of Alum Creek, and Virginia (Dave) Hunt of South Charleston; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at Curry Funeral Home Chapel in Alum Creek with Pastors Dwight McClure and Keith Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park at South Charleston.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
