The Idaho Post, Moscow, Idaho, June 6, 1919: "Word has reached Moscow that O.P. Fry of Ferdinand, Idaho, died very suddenly at his home, Sunday [June 1]. Mr. Fry was about 65 years of age and known to some extent in Moscow. He leaves a wife and seven children, two of whom Benjamin and Marvin Fry attended school at Moscow last winter, Benjamin at the high school and Marvin at the university, where he received his diploma and was called to army service before time for graduation.
