IRA ATTIE SHRIVER
Ira Attie Shriver, 72, lifelong resident of Center Township, died at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 1952, at his home on Hargus Creek (Waynesburg R. D. 5.)
Death was due to a stroke and followed an illness of two months.
Born October 25, 1879, in Center Township, he was a son of George and Mary Elizabeth Eagon Shriver, and followed farming all his life. He was a member of the Rogersville Christian Church.
He was twice married. His first wife was Rozella Hartley, who preceded him in death some years ago. His second wife, Anna M. Buchanan Shriver, survives. He also leaves three sons and one daughter: Ephriam Shriver, at home; Francis Shriver of Cameron Star Route, Miss Anna Shriver, at home, and Oren Shriver of Millsboro.
