Robert "Bobby" Harold Wotring, 65, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Oct 3, 2007 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.

He was born in Preston, West Virginia, and had lived in Savannah since 1950. He was a veteran, having served in the US Navy, and was a member of American Legion Post # 184. He had worked for American Plumbing Service for 31 years.

He was a member of the Islands Assembly of God, and was a big NASCAR Fan, and a member of the Dixie Racing Team of Garden City, Ga.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Johnson Wotring, of Savannah, Ga; his mother, Mary Liston Wotring, of Savannah, Ga; 3 daughters, Mary Ann & Jay Black, Rincon, Ga; Alicia Wotring, Savannah, Ga; and Jeannie & Brandon Ruiz, of Pooler, Ga; 2 brothers, Richard & Joann Wotring of Thunderbolt, Ga; and Donald Wotring, of Midway, Ga; Close Friend, Bob Turner of Savannah, Ga; Favorite Uncle, William R. Liston (Betty) of Texas; 7 grandchildren.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Fairhaven Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: 1 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of the Fairhaven Funeral Home, with Rev. Dennis Adams, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
