"It is with great sadness that I report the passing of my brother Alexandré Reichert, Jr. On Monday afternoon, the 9th of October, 2020, he left us, victim of heart failure and complications arising from COVID-19. Xandinho, a caring nickname he earned in childhood, was 71 years old—all of them practically dedicated to music and religious service. Owner of a born talent, played "by ear" since the age of three. At the end of the 1970s, after honorable passage through the group the King's Heralds quartet in Brazil, he emigrated to the United States of America, where he began playing for the Heritage Singers and giving piano lessons, and also maintains several music related activities in the Seventh-day Adventist church and others. With health compromised in the last few months because of diabetes, he ended up contracting COVID-19 and after much struggle, finally fell asleep in Christ. I still don't have accurate information about the cremation ceremony (location, day and time, access conditions, etc); I'll post another note as soon as I get accurate data on the subject. I thank all the family members, friends and acquaintances who, throughout Xandinho's hospitalization, prayed for him and prayed for his recovery; such prayers were not ignored, be sure. The Lord abbreviated my brother's suffering and gave him rest after all. I hope to meet you again, with our parents Alexandré and Elba, on the great day of His return! Once again, thank you to everyone who wrote, called, to all who, in one way or another, always with great affection, were present in this painful moment. May God bless you!"

"The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death." —Isaiah‬ ‭57:1-2‬ ‭NIV
