Robert H. Humphreys, 68, of Flatwoods died Feb. 13, 2001, at home after a short illness.
He was born December 12, 1932 in Braxton County, a son of the late Melviri and Alice Perrine Humphreys.
He was a Construction Worker, Carpenter, and a Mechanic. He was an Army veteran and attended the First Southern Baptist Church of Sutton.
Surviving: sons, Robert H., Roger L., James W., Johnnie L. and daughter Wynona and her husband Roger and their Sons Jonathan , Andrew , Roger Jr <(Buddy) and Mark Penland of Fairmont WVa ; sisters, Doris Lingo of Newton Falls, Ohio, Lola Jackson of Gassaway; brother, Paul W. Humphreys of Newton Falls, Ohio; several grandchildren.
Service will be 1 pm Thursday, Feb. 15, at Richard M. Roach FH, Gassaway with Pastor Tony Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 am till time of service.
