HAWTHORNE- Eeltje A. Baker, 81, of 42 Braen ave., died Wednesday in Fair Lawn Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in The Netherlands, Mr. Baker came to this country 78 years ago and lived in Hawthorne for the past 35 years. He worked for the Army Signal Corps as a contract administrator for 30 years, retiring in 1949. Mr. Baker was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of the Grace Church of Ridgewood...

The Rev. David S. Marshall, pastor of grace Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.

Surviving are his wife, Jennie; a daughter, Miss Louise Baker at home and a sister, Mrs. Anna Ter Waarbeek of Haledon.
