O. Earl Titus, 92, of East Liverpool, Ohio, formerly of Davistown area, died in his home at 5 PM Tuesday,
September 10, 1985, following a long illness.
He was born June 28, 1893, in Davistown, a son of Sylvanus and Margaret Donley Titus.
He lived in Dunkard Township most of his life.
Mr. Titus was employed by J & L Coal Co. Following his retirement from J & L, he worked for the Pennsylvania
Department of Highways.
He was a member of UMWA Local 6159 in Bobtown, and a longtime member of Davistown United Methodist
Church where he served in many capacities, including Sunday school superintenent.
On May 14, 1919, he married Nellie G. Bradford Titus, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Richard M. Titus of East Liverpool; one grandson, Richard M. Titus II of East
Liverpool; three granddaughters, Mrs. Penny Stoffel of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Kim "Sherry" Francis and Mrs.
David "Toni" Lloyd of Wellsville, Ohio, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers and three sisters are deceased.Services will be held Friday in Charmichaels.
