Lacie is the daughter of Mathias Alonzo Mick and Eliza Belle Pritt. She married Goff Brennie Heavner in Buckhannon, Upshur County, WV. on August 10, 1915. They had 9 children all born in West Virginia; Mildred Virginia, Reeta Blanche, Homer Leroy, twins Maxine Faye and Geraldine Gay, Shirley Elizabeth, Goff Brennie, Jr., Elda Jean and Wilda Lea Heavner. The family moved to Massachusetts around the early 1940's and settled in West Upton, MA. where Lacie worked as a stitcher in the Kartiganer Hat Company for many years. She later lived in the town of Franklin, MA. and then in Hopedale MA. when she passed away at age 93 in a Foxboro, Nursing Home.
