Roger J. Bressers, 67, 134 W. Jefferson St., Darien, died at HAVEN Hospice Care in Janesville, Wis., on Saturday morning, March 13. Roger was born Oct. 4, 1936, in Green Bay, Wis., the son of Martin Bressers and Rose Hockers. Roger was a 1956 graduate of De Pere High School. Most of his working career he was a steel worker, construction bridges and highway overpasses. He married Pat Barry June 3, 1978, in Woodstock, Ill. Roger enjoyed the out of doors, hunting and fishing. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, Darien; four sons, James Bressers, Green Bay, Wis.; Wm (Kathy) Bressers, De Pere, Wis.,; John (Diane) Bressers and Mike (Sarah) Bressers, also of De Pere, Wis.; four daughters, Sue (Steve) Kropp, Bellevue, Wis.; Elizabeth Carroll, Sharon, Wis.; Tanya Robert, Walworth, Wis.; and Portia Diamond, Delavan; four brothers, Norman, Jack, Robert and Martin; one sister, Ellen also survived. Sixteen grandchildren are amongst survivors too.
He was predeceased by his parents; one sister, Elsie; two daughters, Mary and Sherie.
Funeral services were 6 p.m. Monday, March 15, at the Betzer Funeral Home in Delavan. Friends called from 3 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the Bressers family. 262-728-2500
