Peter Zwarycz
Peter Zwarycz, 71, of 2 Winter Street, died Sunday morning at St. Francis's Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Austria and lived in Hartford 27 years. He leaves his wife Mrs. Eva Zwarycz; a son, Michael Zwarvcz, and two grandchildren, all of Hartford. The funeral will be held at the Talarski Funeral Home, 380 Maple Avenue, Tuesday at 7:30 a. m., with requiem mass at St. Michael's Ukrainian Church, Walnut Street, at 8 a.m. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Glastonbury.
MY NOTE: Peter's birthplace is listed as Austria but that is not the present day country of Austria. Rather, it refers to the Austro-Hungarian Empire. I am fairly certain that Peter was born in what is now western Ukraine.
