Elmer K. "Peepers" Brumbach Jr., 74, of Ephrata, unexpectedly entered into rest on Saturday, October 7 at home. Born in Hopeland, he was a son of the late Elmer K. and Emma (Kilhefner) Brumbach.

He and his wife, Lillian H. (Hammer) Brumbach, were married 21 years on July 19th. Also surviving is a son, Terry L. (Doreen D. Weaver) Hammer, Ephrata; three grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; a brother, Robert K. (Shirley Reitz) Brumbach, Eprhata; and a sister, Evelyn M. (Perry L.) Hackman, Lititz. Elmer was predeceased by brothers Leroy Reitz and Irvin K. Brumbach.

A truck driver for D-Pen Line, Inc. for 41 years, he was a member of the Central PA Teamsters Local Union #384 and the Ephrata VFW. A graduate of Ephrata High School, 1952, Elmer served in the US Army during the Korean War, stationed in Germany. He enjoyed car racing, golfing and gardening, and was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.

The Funeral will be on Thursday at 2:00 p.m., Viewing on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Roseboro Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver with Rev. Russell Eberly officiating.
