Jerald Wayne McPheeters entered Heaven Saturday October 17, 2020. He will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held, 1:30 P.M. Wednesday October 21, 2020 at Grace Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Tuesday night at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Loving Cemetery.
Jerald was born September 20, 1939 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Robert Houston McPheeters and Elizabeth Ann (Wilson) McPheeters. Jerald said it cost his dad a sow and 7 pigs. He married Ruby Jean Petty February 19, 1964. Jerald worked hard all his life, working on the family farm from a very young age. He was retired from the city of Arlington where He was a Supervisor in the Transportation Dept.
Jerald was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church of Graham, where he served in many different capacities. He had a beautiful tenor voice that will never be forgotten. He never turned down a chance to glorify His Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a steadfast servant of the Living God, leaving behind a great testimony and some big shoes to fill.
Jerald is survived by his wife Ruby; son David Wayne McPheeters; and daughter Nola Adine McPheeters all of Graham. He is also survived by three Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. He leaves behind a host of friends and a Church that loves him.
