Plane Crash Kills Trio
Motor Stops While Craft Flies Low Near Fletcher, N.C.

Asheville, N.C.; May 3 - Three Asheville youths were killed today when an airplane went into a spin and fell near Fletcher, a few miles from here. The dead: Graham Gardner, son of Dr. G. D. Gardner, proprietor of a West Asheville hospital; Paul Yow, a parachute jumper; and Sam McMillan, a passenger. Gardner, who received his flying license two days ago, was piloting the ship. Witnesses said the motor stopped while the ship was flying low.
