POOLER- Alma E. Powell Morris, 78, passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at The Place at Pooler. She was a native of Emanuel County, and a long time resident of Savannah, she retired from Eli Witt Co. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Shaffer-Newsome. She is survived by, three sons and daughters-in law, Hilton (Nancy) Morris of Pembroke, Tommy (Debbie) Morris of Stillwell, Chris (Andrea) Morris of Bloomingdale; four daughters and sons-in-law Diane (Wallace) Heath of Bloomingdale, Millie (Garry) Mosley of Rincon, Tammy McBride of Bloomingdale and Jackie (Rick) Harden of Guyton; sisters, Evell Lewis of Reidsville, Ethel Clifton of Lyons, Virginia (Jim) Shaffer of Cotapaxi, CO; brother, Henry Powell Jr., of Mt. Vernon; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8pm Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the funeral home. Funeral services will 2pm Wednesday, September 19, 2007 in the chapel at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Interment: Greenwich Cemetery.
