Taylor McDonald "T.M." Mikell, Sr., 81, of Savannah, died Thursday, Octobert 7, 2004 at Hospice Savannah, Inc., surrounded by his family. He was born in Bulloch County, Ga., and was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Sapp Mikell. He was a member of Robert McIntire United Methodist Church, served on the Board of Directors of the Ga Farm Bureau, and the Sheriff's Posse. He was the owner of T. M. Mikell Construction Company in Savannah. He is survived by a son, Taylor M. "Timmy" Mikell, Savannah, Ga; 2 daughters and sons in law, Jan M. & John H. Dean of Rincon, Ga; and Joyce M. & Greg D. Tyson of Savannah, Ga, a sister, Janice M. Carter of Tampa, Fla; 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of the Hubert C.
