Infante Enrique of Spain, Duque of Sevilla (full given name: Enrique Maria Fernando Carlos Francisco Luis), was the son of Francisco de Paula Antonio Maria, Infante of Spain, Duke of Cadiz, and his wife (and niece), Princess Luisa of The Two Sicilies. His father was a younger son of Charles IV, King of Spain, and his elder brother, Francisco de Asís, Duke of Cádiz, was the consort of their cousin, Isabella II, Queen of Spain. He eloped to Rome where he was married morganatically to Doña Elena Maria de Castellvi y Shelly, with whom he had issue. He lost the title of Infante of Spain upon his marriage. The Duque de Sevilla was killed in a duel with his kinsman, Antoine, Duc de Montpensier. As he was no longer an Infante of Spain he could not be buried in El Escorial, but was instead buried in the cemetery of San Isidro in Madrid.
