"Two young brothers were fatally injured at 2:20 Monday morning when their auto veered from Rt. 16 in the town of Holland, rammed through guard cables and soared 50 feet through the air before plummeting 30 feet into Cazenovia Creek. Dead are:
Donald E. Abbey, 24, of Garfield St., Holland, the driver. State Police said his home was only a short distance from the accident scene. Mercy Hospital attendants said he died at 5:05 a.m. He suffered a fractured skull and internal injuries.
Warren R. Abbey, 21, of 75 Dumas Pl., Tonawanda, his brother, died at 5:35 a.m. He also suffered head and internal injuries." Buffalo Courier-Express, June 29, 1965
