Memorial service for Viola M. ''Bonnie'' Sampson, 70, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 732 W. Indiana. Neptune Society is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Sampson, a 56-year resident of Spokane, died Sunday. She was born in Dayville, Ore.

She worked as a nursing/surgical aide at Shriners Hospital for Children for 22 years, retiring in 1988.

Her hobbies included bingo, dancing and singing.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Mark; three sons, Arron Sampson of Kent, Wash., Dale and Bryan Sampson, both of Spokane; a daughter, Melanie Gilbert of Spokane; a brother, Richard Van Ornam of Renton, Wash.; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Shriners Hospital for Children.
