Paul Adams,68,husband of Eloise Ross Adams of 711 Confederate Circle,Taylors,died Thursday at Greenville Memorial Hospital,following several years of declining health.
Born March 19,1919 in Westminster,he was the son of the late Newton J. and Lula "Lou" Cox Adams.
Mr. Adams was associated with Southern Worsted Mill before his retirement and was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church.
He served with the United States Army during World War II.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters,Mrs.
Larry(Joyce)Goodson of Lyman,S.C.,Mrs.Michael T.(Brenda)Cannon of Lawrenceville,Ga. and Mrs.William(Sandra)Penland of Murfreesboro,Tenn.;a son,Jerry P.Adams of Duncan,S.C.;a sister,Mrs.Lillie A.Wilson of Greenville, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.Sunday at the Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home by Dr.William Hightower and Rev.Gerald Bohler.Interment will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family is at the residence,711 Confederate Circle,Taylors,and will receive friends from 5 until 6:30 p.m.Saturday at the funeral home.
