William Louis Arseneau, 78, of St. Augustine, Florida, died at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, Palatka, Florida, on August 8, 2007. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Arseneau was born in Syracuse, New York, 5 March 5, 1929, and was the son of Thomas P. Arseneau and Harriet M. Houston of Syracuse, NY. He was married to Gloria Harrington Arseneau, who predeceased him in 2006. Mr. Arseneau served in the United States Marine Corps from 1946 to 1952, when he was honorably discharged with the rank of staff sergeant. A longtime resident of Syracuse, he worked at Gene's Beans and was an entertaining bartender at Lee's Restaurant near the campus of Syracuse University, where he was known as the "The Tic." Mr. Arseneau retired to Florida in 1991, and he is survived by his stepchildren, Gary Harrington of St. Petersburg, FL, Kathy Ammons of St. Augustine, FL, Greg Harrington of St. Augustine, FL, Brad Harrington of Norman, OK, and Michael Harrington of Missouri. Also surviving are nieces Kathy M. Formica of Liverpool, NY, Susan M. Toomey of Virginia and Donna M. Formica of Syracuse.
