Hans Rosling, född 27 juli 1948 i Uppsala, död 7 februari 2017 i Uppsala, var en svensk läkare och professor i internationell hälsa vid Karolinska institutet. Han var framför allt känd som en av initiativtagarna till Läkare utan gränsers Sverigesektion[5] 1993, för sitt arbete med stiftelsen Gapminder samt för sina pedagogiska och folkbildande föredrag om global hälsa

He also co-founded Médecins sans Frontièrs (Doctors without Borders) Sweden, Noted TED speaker, his public speaking presentations promoted the use of data and graphic animation to explore relevant development issues. His statistic work encompassed economic development, agriculture, poverty and health. Earlier in his career, he was a health adviser to WHO, UNICEF and several other aid agencies. As a professor and collaborator, he focused on Global Health issues. Later in his career he co-founded the Gapminder Foundation with his son and daughter, with a focus to develop software with which to explain the world and development with graphics. This software, called Trendalyzer, converts international statistics into moving, interactive graphics. His use of the Trendalyzer graphic presentations in his public speaking was innovative and won many awards. Google acquired the Trendalyzer software in 2007.
