He was married in Vienna on April 19, 1845 to Gräfin Henriette von Waldstein, Herrin zu Wartenberg, by whom he had no children. He was married in Praha, Bohemia on August 25, 1852 to Prinzessin Rosa von Lobkowicz, by whom he had three children.
