McMinnville, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native Doris McCormick, age 59, was born April 2, 1961 and died July 13, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

A press operator with Brandi Rose Shirt Factory and a member of Long Mountain Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Maxie and Ruby Louise Martin Shehane.

She is survived by husband and best friend, Norman McCormick of McMinnville, TN; daughter, Sherry (James) Martin of Morrison, TN; two sons, Gregory (Chris) Ledbetter of Ramrod Key West, FL and Joshua Ledbetter of McMinnville, TN; three step-children, Amanda (Clint) Williams, Kevin McCormick and Lynn McCormick all of McMinnville, TN; eight grandchildren, Zachery Martin, Devin Martin, Chelsea Martin, Alyssa Ledbetter, Madison Ledbetter, Kadence Ledbetter, Kaden Ledbetter and Kaden Drake; two step-grandchildren, Kaylee Beth Williams and Tripp Williams; two sisters, Gail (Phillip) Perryman of Shelbyville, TN and Donna Fulton of Sevierville, TN; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020 in Asbury Cemetery in Warren County, TN. There will be no visitation at High's. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery.

High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
