Clinton Eugene Compton, 37, of 603 Edgewood, Houston, Texas, died Sunday, November 16, at 3 A.M. in a local hospital. He was born in Eastland County, Texas and was an employee of the Austin, Company.

He was a member of the Electrical Workers Union Local 66.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ora Compton of Colorado City, Texas, three brothers, L. W. (Buddy) Compton of Houston, Texas, R.C. (Dick) Compton of Colorado City, Texas, and Harvey E. (Hobbs) Compton, Jr. of Colorado City, Texas; four sisters, Hazel McCollum of Loraine, Texas, Grace Wyatt of Sweetwater, Texas, Joyce Jackson of Olney, Texas, and Claudia Faye Compton of Colorado City, Texas.

Funeral Services were held at 5 P.M. Sunday at the Fogle-West chapel with Rev. Charles McClain, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church officiating.

The body was shipped to Sweetwater, Texas at 9:30 P.M. Sunday over the Missouri Pacific lines. Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker Funeral Home.
