Paul Whalen, 64 of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Care One in Bound Brook, NJ. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he was raised in Park Ridge, NJ before moving to Bridgewater 34 years ago.

Paul was a graduate of DeVry Institute and was employed as a Service Engineer for Beckman Instruments for 32 years and Perkin Elmer for 3 years.

Paul and his family were members of the Lavallette Yacht Club, Lavallette NJ for many years where they also owned a vacation home. He loved boating and fishing with his family. Paul was a certified scuba dive master. He and his wife Valery were both avid scuba divers and motorcycle riders. Paul enjoyed working around the house and spending quality time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Thomas and Leonora Whalen.

Surviving are his loving wife Valery Whalen of 34 years, two dear sons Daniel and his wife Katie of Bridgewater, NJ and Matthew Whalen of Bridgewater, NJ; two brothers, Tom and his wife Linda of Stone Mountain, GA; and Robert Whalen of Langhorne, PA.; many loving nieces and nephews and his two dogs Scout and Flint and three goats.
