LONOKE - Mrs. Ella Mae Horton Burgess Curry passed away February 20, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Curry was a charter member of New Testament Baptist Church, 1600 Lincoln St., Lonoke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ollie Horton, her husband, James Curry and a son Gary Burgess. She is survived by John (Dickey) Burgess (Judy) of Lonoke, LarryCurry (Sherry) of Texas, Glenda Allison (Freddie) of Lonoke, Donna Hall (Cecil), Mary Harrell and Henrietta Odom, all of Texas; 16 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren and a sister, Lela Jo Tullos of Lonoke.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 23 at New Testament Baptist Church with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 p.m. At the funeral home. A special thanks to Golden Years Manor for their compassion and care. Also, a special thanks to her longtime caregiver, Marcia Miller. Memorials may be made to New Testament Baptist Church Building Fund.
