Passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre in Gander, Mr. Harold Hodder of Stoneville, age 87 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Shem and Olive Hodder; stepmother; one brother; one sister-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law; 1 son-in-law and 1 grandson.
Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Lucy of 66 years; sons, Lester (Clarice), Harold (Lorraine); daughters, Olive (Ivan Gidge), Lorraine (Oswald Hodder), Madeline (Aubrey Luscombe), Ina (Orlando Hodder), Evelyn (Gus Quinlan), Audrey (Gurrin Gillingham); 29 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; sisters, Effie Benning and Annie Wheaton; brother, Edmund (Grace).
Pastor J.W. Roberts conducted Funeral Service from the Pentecostal Church, Stoneville on Monday, October 8, 2012. Interment was at Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Owen Hodder, Bradley Coffin, Cordell Hodder, Jamie Hodder, Jeremy Coffin and Gregory Gillingham. Honorary pallbearer was Christopher Hodder.
