Mildred E. Brown of Milroy, Indiana died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Rush Memorial Hospital. She was 89.
Born May 16, 1918, she was the daughter of John E. and Leona (Kinnett) Darter, both deceased.
She married Earl Brown March 13, 1935; he preceded her in death July 24, 2005.
Mrs. Brown was a life member of Milroy United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Milroy Order of Eastern Star and the Modern Home Arts Home Ec Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie J. Gambill and Joan E. (Mrs. David) Stephens, both of Milroy; one son, Robert D. Brown (and wife Beverly) of Rushville; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren.
An Eastern Star service was conducted Tuesday, August 21st at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy.
Services were Wednesday, August 22nd at Milroy United Methodist Church, with the Revs. David Williamson, Phil Mitchell and Bill Jackson officiating.
