VARLEY, Stephen Michael
of Hawthorne, Calif., age 51, died at his home on August 15, 2007. He is survived by his long time very good friends, Patty, Steve, and Patty's brother, Frank of Hawthorne. He was employed as a security guard and recently as a Crossing Guard for the past six years. Steve was the youngest son of Jack and Ruth Varley, long time residents of Lancaster, Calif. He is survived by his sisters Jill Welch of Ithaca, New York, and Sylvia Shelley of Riverside, Calif., their husbands, four nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Scot and Jimmy. A viewing will be held from 2 p.m., to 3 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at Joshua Memorial Park; 808 East Lancaster Blvd., Lancaster, Calif. Graveside services will follow there at 3 p.m. Donations made to the American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers are appreciated.
