Norman C. Blanton died on December 30, 2016 at the age of 93.

He was survived by his daughters, Kathern (and Rick) Allen and Debbie (and Glen) Herbert; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie (Tarter) Blanton.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Brookside Missionary Baptist Church, 52203 Mound Road, Shelby Township, Michigan.
