Mary was the daughter of Samuel Brubaker Kreider and Sara Ophelia Spayd Swope. She was married to Rev. Adam Henry Wengert. Mary was the mother of ten children, all linked below. Her death certificate states she died January 13 1939 (original obituary says Jan 14 1938). Her mothers name is given as 'Phelia'.

Mrs. Mary S. Wengert, (nee Kreider), of Jonestown RD 1, died Friday evening at 11:00 p.m., of heart trouble, at her home. She had been ailing for 16 months. She was a member of the United Zion Children Church, Annville. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Adam H. Wenger; children, Mabel, wife of C.B. Eavey, of Wheaton, Illinois; Sarah, wife of R.C. Miller, of Jonestown, RD 1; Samuel K. Wengert, of Lebanon; Cathryn Wengert, a missionary in the Matopo Mission, South Rhodesia, Africa; Edith, at home; Martha, wife of Alfred Creider, of Reading; Rachel, wife of Walter Martin, of Elizabethtown; seventeen grandchildren; a brother, Edwin S. Swope, of Lebanon; and a sister, Mrs. Sallie Major, of Evansville, Indiana. [Lebanon Daily News]
