Ricky E. Hoth, 64, of Boaz, died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at the VA Hospital in Tomah. He was born June 21, 1943 in Billings, Montana the son of Norval ‘Bud' and Sarah Ruth (Doom) Hoth. Rick served in the US Navy in the Mediterranean on the USS Saratoga. He took over Muscoda Auto Body from his father in 1989 until 2002. He drove truck for Lawrence Transportation out of Tomah. Rick enjoyed reading and playing cards. He loved his children and ‘grandbabies.'
Rick is survived by four children, Jess (Stacey Stackle) Hoth of Waunakee, Erin (John Monaghan) Hoth of Lawrence, Kansas, Steve (Melody) Bruckner of Waunakee, Suanne Bruckner of Richland Center, four grandchildren, Braeden Hoth, Freya Monaghan, Bryce and Briana Bruckner, two brothers, Paul (Mary) Hoth of Cottage Grove, Steve (Donna) Hoth of Richland Center, two nephews, Brian (Linda) Hoth of Stoughton, Brent (Karen) Hoth of Cottage Grove, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Hoth.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with Reverend Craig Peach. Burial will follow in the Boaz Cemetery with Military graveside rites provided by the Local Military Memorial Honors Unit. Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 18, 2007 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
