Loving Husband of Lela Lucille (Williams) Dulaney. Mr. Dulaney was the son of Robert E. Lee Dulaney and Laura Belle (Nelms) Dulaney. R. L. Dulaney and Sons owned and operated several Cotton Gins in Ector, Fannin County, Texas before moving to Houston, Texas. While living in Houston, Mr. Du;laney worked as a night-watchman for a company called: The Oil Field Salvage. According to my grandmother, the Dulaney cotton gin got burned down by a local competitor, who also was a preacher at one of the local churches. I won't mention the denomination. However, it wasn't the local Methodist Church where all of the Dulaneys went. Mr. Dulaney's Grandfather, John Paul Dulaney, was a Methodist Circuit Rider. A Circuit Rider was a preacher who went around on horseback to spread the gospel.
