DILL SERVICE HELD TUESDAY AT 2 O'CLOCK
E. Frank (Fate) Dill, 79, husband of Birdie Stokes Dill and resident of 14 Eighth Street, Greer, died Monday morning in a Spartanburg nursing home following a long illness.
Mr. Dill was a son of the late Ezias and Lula Lister Dill. A native of Greenville County, he was a retired farmer. Mr. Dill was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
Surviving also are two daughters, Mrs. Iva Moon and Mrs. Frankie Taylor of Greer; a son, John L. Dill of Greer; a brother, W. B. Dill of Greer; three sisters, Mrs. Miles Crain, Mrs. Fred Stokes and Mrs. Louie Stokes, all of Greer; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Wood Mortuary with the Rev. Bobby Crocker and the Rev. Paul Petty officiating. Interment was in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Don and Ted Stokes, Wayne Crain, Veldie Edge, Emory Hayes and Howard Wingo.
