Clarence Dale Bozarth was the son of William Franklin Bozarth and Effie Mae Hussey, who were originally from Grayson County, Kentucky. Dale, the youngest of their seven children, was born on November 24, 1904 in Doniphan, Ripley County, Missouri.

Dale married Sadie Marie Aldrich on February 9, 1926 in Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. Over the years he owned auto dealerships in various locations, one of which was located on Highway 45 at Huntsville, Texas. They moved to Houston after he retired.

Sadie Marie Bozarth died on January 17, 1982 in Houston. Dale died at the age of 79 years and 11 months on October 24, 1984 in Houston. He is survived by nephews Claude Earl Bozarth, Jr. of Houston and Paul Gene Bozarth of Dallas, and niece Jo Ann Wilhite of Garland. Dale and Marie are both buried in the South Park Memorial Cemetery in Pearland, Brazoria County, Texas.
