PALM BAY - William O. "Buster" Vickers, 85, a 34-year letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, died Sunday, Dec. 19, at home.

Mr. Vickers was born in Bon Air, Ala. He came to Brevard County in 1972 from Alabama.

There are no known survivors.

Calling hours and services are private. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville. North Brevard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In Loving Memory Of Our Dad And Granddad

WILLIAM O. VICKERS
"Buster"

Age 85, who passed away Sunday, December 19, 1999, at his home in Palm Bay, Florida.

Mr. Vickers was a retired postal worker. He served in the Navy during WWII, and the Air Force Reserve after the war. He was a Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge.

He was a man of many interests including: traveling in his motorhome, fishing, golfing and wood working. He spent many hours of his time at his computer. He was a loving father, and loved his wife, his children, and his family most of all. He will be dearly missed by all of his children and their families, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren for the rest of their lives.

Buster is survived by his wife, Stacie; brother, Paul and his wife, 3 sons and their wives, Charles and Shirley, Clay and Nancy, and Ray; one daughter and her husband , Jeanine and Vince; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren including 2 sets of twin grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Services were held Tuesday, December 21, 1999 in Titusville, Florida.
