Robert James Anderson, age 72 of Cookeville, a brother of Hunter Funeral Home's
Ricky Anderson, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 in Cookeville. Tennessee.
Robert was born on December 16, 1947 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late
Garland Virgil Anderson and Bonnie Estell Underwood Anderson. Robert was a devoted employee of Woodbine Funeral Home in Nashville for 30 years following a time working at Eagle Furniture alongside his brothers Ricky and Gary. He was a collector of antiques and funeral profession antiques. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by brother Ronnie David Anderson.
Survivors include his siblings: Donald and Lucille Anderson, Jean Anderson of Putnam County, Gary and Kathy Anderson of Wilson County, Tennessee, Kathy Anderson Lamb of Putnam County, Ricky and Sharon Anderson of Putnam County; A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In consideration of the health and safety of family and friends, a private family graveside service will be conducted at Crest Lawn Cemetery. A public memorial will be planned at a later date once the social restrictions have been lifted.
