Carl Oscar Abrego Sr., age 65, of Peck passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at his home.
Carl was born January 24, 1952 in Pontiac, MI to the late George and Obdulia (Gonzalez) Abrego. He graduated from Peck High School with the class of 1971. Carl worked for GM for 12+ years and for Venture Industries until 2000. He enjoyed working on cars.
Carl is survived by three sons, Carl (Chelle Kilmury) Abrego Jr., Ricky (Kelly) Abrego and Bret (Lisa Light) Abrego; his significant other, Joyce VerPlank; her children, Charlotte (Travis) Peterson, Jennifer (Corry) Birkett and Christian Konot; seven grandchildren, Corinne, Gabriel, Manuel, Casey, Randy, Alexis and Kimberly; one sister, Gloria (Marty) Southard; two sisters-in-law, Lillian Abrego and Diane Abrego and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Vincent and Ramon Abrego.
The family will receive visitors from 2-8 PM on Friday, January 26, 2018 and from 10 AM until the time of service at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky with Pastor Jerry Griggs officiating.
Burial will follow in Christian Memorial Gardens East in Peck.
