Martha Susan, William Hopper and Mary Ann Barnard, married Charles Andrew Arnold ,son of John J. Arnold and Sarah Ann Banning, 08 August 1889, Macoupin Co., IL to the union were born, Mina Flotilla Marie, Burley Francis,Delia, Lelia,Ira Lemuel, Ralph Dean , Julia Otha Mary & Clarence Earl.
Suggested edit: Scottville, Jan. 31 — Mrs. Susan Arnold, wife of Charles Arnold, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, at a Carlinville hospital, where she had been a patien for the last two weeks. The decedent had been been ill for many months.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Burly, Ira, Clarence and Ralph, all of Scottville vicinity; and two daughters, Mrs. Bud Henderson and Mrs. Gilbert Sherburn, both of Palmyra; also seven grandchlldren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Friday at the home, southwest of Scottville. Interment will be made at Land cemetery.
