In Tucson, Ted attended Mrs. LaPine's, Tucson Country Day, Southern Arizona School for Boys. In Benson, he attended Benson Grammer and Benson Union High School. He obtained a B.S. in Agricultural Communications at the University of Arizona. Ted received the 4-H Outstanding Young Leader and F.F.A. Star Greenhand awards. Hiking and reading were Ted's early passions, as was helping raise Charolais cattle on the family ranch. Summers were spent working for the U.S. Forest Service at Lakeside/Pinetop. Backpacking Europe and Mexico, Ted made many enduring friendships. Photography represented his greatest gift, as his striking black and white photos of chateaux in France and AZ ranches attest. At UA, he was a photographer for the Arizona Wildcat. He later worked as photographer for Land and People, UA's Ag magazine. Another passion was archaeology and he later worked as photo archivist for the Arizona State Museum. Ted was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Bundy; grandparents, John and Martha Bundy, Eugene and Winifred Sullivan. Ted is survived by his loving companion and guardian angel, Dorcas Marie Daley; treasured daughter, Tasha Bundy; granddaughter, Mia Convertino; mother, Winifred J. Bundy and second beloved papa, Joseph E. Smelt; brother Tad C (Wanda) Bundy; sister, Sharon L Bundy (Bruce Irby); nieces, Jenny Barchfield, Ruth Bundy and Vanessa Barchfield (Ben Salm); nephew, Christopher Bundy; aunt , Jackie Sullivan; cousins, Kelly Cruz (Alex), Kevin Sullivan and Kerry McEldowney (Andy) and lifelong friends, Paul and Penny Kienow, Kathy and Mark Suagee. The family wishes to thank the multitude of friends who wrote, called and visited Ted in his last days. It brought much joy. A special thanks to Greg Price for his assistance.
