Marydell Clark, 86, of Asheville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 22, 2018.
Marydell was born June 16, 1931 in Madison County to her late parents, Vincent and Pearl Freeman Plemmons. She worked at the American Enka Plant for 30 years and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Ann Clark Worley and brother, Dillard Plemmons.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Billie M. Clark; two sons, Billy Clark (Connie) and Eddie Clark (Joyce); son in-law, Larry Worley; grandchildren: Jeff Worley (Connie), Tim Worley (Sonia), Travis Clark (Tara) and Amanda Gillespie (Nelson); 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Reverends Joseph Sluder, Tommy Dorsey and Dewayne Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
